It was a wildly impressive night on the ballroom floor Monday when Season 20 of "Dancing With the Stars" premiered on ABC and fans of the hit reality competition series got their first look at the celebrity lineup in action.

Although no 9s or 10s were awarded to the star-studded cast during the 10th-anniversary episode, a few couples did leave the judges in awe with their hip-shaking and emotional routines. Check out videos from four of the best moments from episode 1 of “DWTS” below:

1. Rumer Willis’ Show-Stopping Foxtrot

The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, both of whom were in the audience, proved just how dedicated she was during her stunning routine to Hozier’s “Take Me to Church.” “You guys are definitely the ones to watch,” judge Julianne Hough said, leaving Rumer and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, with the biggest smiles. The duo was awarded the best score of the night, earning 32 points out of a possible 40.

2. Noah Galloway’s Emotional Cha-Cha

The Army veteran who lost an arm and a leg in Iraq wasn’t kidding around when he promised dance partner Sharna Burgess that what he lacked in limbs he would make up for in determination and hard work.

The moving performance left the judges in admiration. “You are a titan among men,” Bruno Tonioli gushed while fellow judge Carrie Anne Inaba said the routine had broadened her scope “of what dance looks like.” The couple earned 26 points.

3. The Dancing Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree!

Musican and actor Riker Lynch proved he’s definitely related to Derek and Julianne Hough (they're second cousins, he said on the show) when he rocked the audience and the judges with his fun and fearless jive routine. His performance with partner Allison Holker even got Bruno up out of his seat -- and onto the judge’s table -- where the feisty judge declared that the “Glee” star had “the coolest vibe I’ve seen since I saw my friend Billy Idol.” The twosome scored 31 points.

4. Nastia Liukin’s New York Spirit

The Olympic gold medalist proved just how determined she is to win the 2015 mirror ball trophy with her “explosive” foxtrot to the iconic Frank Sinatra song "New York, New York." Although the former gymnast wowed the judges with her athletics, Julianne had a few tips for the bendy contestant. The judge critiqued that sometimes Nastia’s flexibility can hinder her performance instead of enhancing it. The couple scored 30 points.
