And then there were 10. On Monday night, “Dancing With the Stars” eliminated its second couple of the Season 20 competition. Which twosome was asked to slide off the ballroom floor at the end of week 3’s sexy “Latin Night”? Unfortunately for Carl’s Jr. fans, it was Super Bowl ad vixen Charlotte McKinney and her partner Keo Motsepe who were nixed from the ABC series after an underwhelming rumba.

“I’m so sad,” judge Julianne Hough said with a pout after the duo’s dance to Shakira’s “Empire,” which scored 22 judges points out of a possible 40. “Last week I told you you had so much potential and this dance could have shown that potential. But you didn’t take Keo’s instruction.”

The judges were tough on Charlotte as they critiqued the bombshell's lack of effort during rehearsals. (She seemed more interested in her phone than perfecting her performance.) But none were harsher than Bruno Tonioli, who made a shockingly crude comment to the contestant.

"Look, you're never going to win the Nobel Prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eyes,” he said before being told that he was out of line.

Shortly after, the Charlotte and Keo were asked to hang up their dancing shoes. (They actually were eliminated based on their cha-cha the previous week, which was voted on by viewers as well as the judges.)

“I just wanted to make Keo happy. That was my main thing,” Charlotte told “DWTS” co-host Erin Andrews following her elimination. The blond beauty added that although competing was “a challenge,” it also was a positive experience. “I’ve learned so much,” she said. “I am extremely grateful. It’s tested me and I feel like a better person.”

Charlotte went into more detail of how she felt about being sent home from “DWTS” when she and Keo appeared on ABC's “Good Morning America” Tuesday. The model explained that her Week 3 pre-taped package wasn’t completely misleading when it insinuated she didn’t put in the time and sweat that she could have.

“I had a lot of work this week, so I was working and going to practice, trying to get four hours a day of practice,” she said of her “emotionally and physically draining” schedule. “Maybe I had too much stress during all of this.”

Charlotte even addressed Bruno’s backhanded compliment that insulted her intelligence. “To me, honestly, I thought it was uncalled for,” she said. “I’ve heard it all, so at the end of the day, shake it off!”

Overall, Charlotte described her experience on the show as “amazing.” “I learned so much. I’m so grateful! It’s been such an amazing ride,” she said, adding that she has made a lifelong friend in Keo.

When asked what couple the eliminated duo would now root for, Keo and Charlotte said they’re crossing their fingers for Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy to take home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy.

“We are team Rumer and Val!” Charlotte said.

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays on ABC at 8 p.m. EDT.
