Days of Our Lives
Adrienne (Judi Evans) finally gets a chance to explain the truth to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) on the Nov. 2, 2017 episode of "Days of Our Lives."  NBC

Her allegedly dumping him to reunite with Justin led to him initially falling off the wagon and descending into extreme alcoholism. However, now that Adrienne is no longer being portrayed by imposter Bonnie and she herself is truly back, she will make an attempt to explain the truth to Lucas about what happened between them on the Thursday, Nov. 2 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Adrienne (Judi Evans) had been planning a future with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) when she was drugged and dragged to Statesville so Bonnie (also Evans) could assume her life as part of Angelica's (Morgan Fairchild) scheme to get her hands on Justin (Wally Kurth) again. The scheme on the NBC soap eventually went south when Angelica suddenly died, but Bonnie was able to continue her own charade, which allowed her to also try and get revenge on Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) by attempting to steal Victor (John Aniston) from her. When she made a move to get Victor to marry her however, the truth about who she was came out, and Bonnie fled town. However, Adrienne was still released from Statesville and allowed to rejoin her family.

Since then, she has traveled to Memphis with Justin, Sami (Alison Sweeney), Marlena (Deidre Hall), John (Drake Hogestyn), Paul (Christopher) and Sonny (Freddie Smith), in search of answers about Will. She came to the city to check on Sonny after he was knocked unconscious, but was stunned when she also found Lucas there.

Since Bonnie dumped him, Lucas had fallen off the wagon badly, and was often drunk, and the entire situation regarding Will has not made things easier for him. He came to Memphis after learning everyone else had gone and left him behind, but now, he has gone to her hotel room to see her—and it will finally give her a chance to explain what really happened to her.

However, whether or not telling him she wasn't the one who actually dumped him, and sharing with him that she does actually still want to be with him, will work at this point is questionable. Lucas has fallen so far off the wagon that he may not be able to come back so easily now, even if he believes the woman he loves is back in his life for good.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
