Brady (Eric Martsolf) plays dirty on Nicole's (Arianne Zucker, not pictured) behalf on the Aug. 31, 2017 episode of "Days of Our Lives." NBC

She was stunned when her custody hearing for her daughter was suddenly moved up on "Days of Our Lives." Now, Nicole may learn the reason why, and Brady will find himself going to extremes to try and help her on the Thursday, Aug. 31 episode.

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was informed her custody hearing to try and get Holly back had been moved up, and she has been nervous about the big moment because she now remembers murdering Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), as well as his admitting before he died that the judge who would determine whether she could have her daughter was in his pocket. She had Brady's (Eric Martsolf) support, as well as Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Chloe's (Nadia Bjorlin) on the NBC soap, but she was still worried about how it would go. Sure enough, Justin (Wally Kurth) soon revealed that things weren't looking good because the judge knows what Nicole did.

The warning will cause Nicole to panic, because as far as she knows, the only people who know the truth about her murdering Deimos at the Marton House party are her, Brady and Victor (John Aniston), but realizing the judge knows something about her will make her feel less secure, and she'll be devastated that her secret is out.

Her reaction will be puzzling to both Eric and Chloe, who don't know about the recent reveal, but Brady will know what she's freaked out about and will try to calm her down as a result. Sure enough, Nicole may have the wrong impression about what exactly the judge is aware of, and it might be something that is significantly minor compared to committing murder, but still able to have a huge impact on her hearing.

Nicole had been ordered to have no physical contact with her daughter after the first hearing, which put the infant in foster care. However, when she ran into the foster mother at the town square and picked up her daughter, she broke that rule. At the time, Eric had seemingly swooped in and saved her, but the foster mother felt like Nicole seemed familiar to her. Since then, she may have realized who Nicole was and reported it, which could be the very thing that is making Nicole's chances at reuniting with her daughter less than stellar at the moment.

Knowing that finding out she can't get her daughter back yet again will devastate her, Brady will decide to flex some of his muscle as a Kiriakis to help her out, and will play dirty in an effort to get her what she wants. How he goes about it could be a mystery however, and in the end it may do more harm than good, depending on what it is he does, and what exactly his plan entails.

The last time Brady helped Nicole out was when she kidnapped Holly and took her out of town. While neither one would go to such extremes again, there's no telling what consequences a new plot could ultimately have.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
