Days of Our Lives
Sami (Alison Sweeney, not pictured) goes to extremes to try and job Will's (Chandler Massey) memory on the Nov. 29, 2017 episode of "Days of Our Lives." NBC

She is desperate to jog her son's memory and get him to remember her and how close they were in the past, and now, Sami may find herself resorting to measures that are far too extreme when it comes to achieving her goal on the Wednesday, Nov. 29 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Since learning Will (Chandler Massey) was alive in Memphis, Sami's (Alison Sweeney) world has been turned upside down on the NBC soap. Will has no recollection of his life before he was nearly murdered by Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), and was brainwashed into believing Susan Banks (Eileen Davidson) was his real mother, and he was actually EJ. He has since learned that is not the case, but has refused to believe he has any positive memories with Sami, and that has devastated her to no end.

Now, as she desperately tries to reunite with her son, Sami will take things to an unexpected extreme.

Sami has kidnapped Ben from the facility he was locked back up in after he started the entire process of getting Will back with his loved ones by crashing the double wedding with news he was alive. Now, she has him in a room with her as she tries to convince him that he may be the only one who can jog Will's memories from before his near death and the thorough brainwashing that affected the last two years of his life.

Sami will tell Ben she needs him to reenact the scene where he murdered Will, or thought he had, by threatening to strangle him to death once more. Sami believes that if his "death" is something Will is forced to remember, then he will also start to remember his life before then—which included his daughter, his husband, and his parents, especially her.

However, though the scheme could seem too good to resist, it could also be a dead end. Not only is there no guarantees it would work, but it could also be something that Ben refuses to do, since he didn't actually kill Will the first time. In addition, if the facility is able to track Ben down and cart him away before anything can happen, it will stop Sami's extreme plan completely in its tracks.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
