Days of Our Lives
Yo Ling (Tobin Bell, left) will brainwash Paul (Christopher Sean, right) on "Days of Our Lives" this week. NBC

“Days of Our Lives” ended on a bit of a cliffhanger last Friday as John (Drake Hogestyn) watched his estranged father, Yo Ling (Tobin Bell), take his son Paul (Christopher Sean) away. The NBC drama will follow up on that plotline this week as John does everything in his power to prevent Paul from becoming an assassin.

For those that don’t remember where “Days of Our Lives” left off, Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) threw an epic party in Salem to celebrate her 18th birthday. However, she’s still not OK after Chase’s (Jonathon McClendon) attack. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) returned to the party to find her daughter standing on top of the bar and drinking from a bottle of tequila.

Things weren’t going any better for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and her son. She got a text from Roman (Josh Taylor) telling her to come down to the police station. When she arrived she found Joey (James Lastovic) in the interrogation room.

Elsewhere, Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) had a tense reunion with Eduardo. But the big jaw dropper was when Yo Ling laid out his plans for Paul.

Monday’s installment will kick off on an emotional note as Ciara opens up to Hope about her rape. Meanwhile, Joey will finally decide to come clean about his role in Ava’s (Tamara Braun) death. He’ll confess everything to Roman while Steve (Stephen Nichols) connects with Kayla.

Tuesday’s episode will revisit John as he attempts to free himself from Yo Ling’s capture. But is it too already too late for Paul? The synopsis teases that his evil grandfather will drug him in order to begin the brainwashing. Fortunately, Rafe (Galen Gering) and the others are hot on Yo Ling’s trail. The episode description reveals that Rafe will make a “startling discovery in Yo Ling’s labyrinth.”

Things will get complicated on Wednesday’s installment of “Days of Our Lives.” Steve and Kayla debate fleeing Salem. Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) will come up with a “mysterious plan to help trap Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).” But will the plan work? Or will his life be in danger?

Fans won’t want to miss Thursday’s drama as Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) confesses the truth to Victor (John Aniston) about Summer (Marie Wilson). Elsewhere, Dario will be in Summer’s ear telling her to “take advantage of Maggie’s riches.” And he won’t be the only Hernandez stirring up trouble. Eduardo’s return home will shake things up for the whole family.

Friday’s episode will find Maggie and Summer connecting in an attempt to “make up for lost time.” Sticking to the theme of forgiveness and moving on, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) will reach out to Victor. But will the two brothers ever be able to get over their bad history?
