“Deadpool 2” has resumed production two days after a stuntwoman died on set due to a fatal motor crash accident.

On Wednesday, TMZ caught “Deadpool 2” star Ryan Reynolds leading the crew for a moment of silence for Joi “SJ” Harris who passed away on Monday after a motorcycle stunt went terribly wrong.

The “Deadpool 2” cast and crew spent the last two days mourning for Harris’ death. Now, they are back into filming again. Reynolds was spotted in his Deadpool suit as he shot scenes on top of a flipped truck.

On Monday, Vancouver Police announced on Twitter that a stunt driver died on the set of “Deadpool 2.” “A stunt driver has died on the set of ‘Deadpool’ during a stunt on a motorcycle. VPD & @WorkSafeBC investigators are at the scene.”

Hours after Harris’ death was confirmed, Reynolds posted an emotional letter on how the accident broke his heart and reached out to the stuntwoman’s family. “Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming ‘Deadpool.’ We’re heartbroken, shocked and devastated...but recognize nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment. My heart pours out to them -- along with each and every person she touched in this world.”

“We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of ‘Deadpool 2’ this morning,” a spokesperson of 20th Century Fox said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. “Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time.”

According to ET, Harris was doubling for Zazie Beetz, who plays the mutant named Domino in the film. Harris was “the first licensed African American women in U.S. history to actively compete in sanctioned motorcycle road racing events.”

A source told Deadline that Harris practiced her stunt all day on Saturday. A production source confirmed that they had two full days to rehearse. On the day of the accident, they ran the stunt five times before filming and everything worked well.

An eyewitness told the publication that Harris’ bike accelerated when it was supposed to slow down as she took the corner. She was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred because Domino did not wear one in the scene.
