ABC TV series “Designated Survivor” finally clued President Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) in to the conspiracy that is brewing inside the White House. Seeing blueprints of a Capitol bombing simulation that was developed by the government in 2013, the former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development realized that there is a traitor in the Oval Office who used these blueprints to bring down the Capitol in 2016.

What will happen in “Designated Survivor” Season 1, episode 10 “The Oath”?

The synopsis of the upcoming episode, which is also the winter finale of Season 1, will see the President confide in someone about what he discovered. He will tell his Special Advisor, Emily Rhodes (Italia Ricci), everything and put her in charge of investigating this matter quietly. It makes sense for him to trust her since she is the only one who was working for him before he ascended to the position of the commander-in-chief of the country.

Elsewhere, new information will surface about Congressman Peter MacLeish (Ashley Zukerman) which will raise concerns regarding his vice presidential nomination. Finally, Kirkman will get a whiff of MacLeish’s true intentions.

The promo of “Designated Survivor” episode 10 reveals that FBI Agent Hannah Wells (Maggie Q) will be safe and sound despite being in a car accident in the previous episode. Wells is not only fine, save for some bruises, but she will desperately try to stop an attack on the President.

The mysterious Catalan wants to kill one more person: President Kirkman. In the winter finale, it seems he will attempt to assassinate him. In the video, during a speech that Kirkman delivers at the site of the Capitol bombing, shots are fired.

“Designated Survivor” Season 1, episode 10, which is also the winter finale, premieres on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
