“Teen Mom 2” stars Kail Lowry and Javi Marroquin have much different stories when it comes to the cheating allegations that supposedly ended their marriage. Marroquin wrote a book to tell his side of the story, but it won’t come out until Lowry finishes her version of events. Together, both accounts will be released as separate books. The series is accurately called, “He Said, She Said.”

“My book I already wrote and Kailyn’s responding to mine with how she thought it played out. Then we have something for the readers after that. We want to give the people what they want,” Marroquin, 24, told Radar Online in an exclusive interview Wednesday.

The couple was married for nearly four years and share one son together: 3-year-old Lincoln.

Part of the reason the exes wanted to write the book was because “Teen Mom 2” doesn’t give viewers the full story.

“Kail and I decided in order to really give the readers all the answers, we needed to figure out a way to give both of our point of views,” he told the publication. “That’s where ‘He Said,’ ‘She Said’ became what it is. Teen Mom is edited so people don’t know all the details of what went down. This is our chance even though we agree to disagree.”

Things aren’t great between the former lovers, but they’re trying to mend their relationship so they can co-parent. “Things are definitely rocky, but we do plan on going on tour together,” he said. “Time to squash all the accusations and put it to rest.”

It’s not clear when the books will be released. The main reason is because Lowry would have to give her consent to some things Marroquin wrote about her and she hasn’t done that yet.

“The book is coming,” Marroquin said last month. “There are things in there I needed Kail’s permission to say. She’s obviously not happy with some of the stuff in there. That’s the delay right now. “As soon as Kail and I can come to an equal compromise, hopefully we can keep pressing on it.”

In fact, Lowry denied that she cheated on Marroquin while he was deployed with the Air Force.

“Okay, I'm just going to say it because I already started. There's like a whole misconception that I cheated on Javi while he was deployed, which is super frustrating because that's not the case,” Lowry told E! News last month. “It just makes for good TV, drama and ratings. I'm just biting the bullet every time but it isn't true.”

She was shocked when Marroquin accused her of cheating. “We've always kind of talked about things behind closed doors when the cameras aren't rolling and we've been on the same page about it so I don't know,” Lowry explained. “Like I said, it makes for good drama. It makes for good ratings.”
