Kanye West reportedly suffered from a seizure and was rushed to the hospital in Australia Wednesday, Woman’s Day Australia wrote. The rapper was taken to Epworth Hospital in Melbourne for an emergency MRI. West, 34, was surrounded by his security guards and had half of his face covered as he was brought through the back entrance of the hospital.

“My daughter was having an MRI. Shortly after it began, security burst in and cleared the area,” eyewitness Loraine Terry told Woman’s Day. People were removed from the waiting rooms, except for the source and her daughter, since the MRI was not finished yet, she said.

“Next thing we knew, Kanye was stretchered in surrounded by security. He had one side of his face covered with something white. We both knew it was him because we had seen his photo in the paper every day and we were shocked because it looked so serious,” the witness added.

Everyone was “panicked,” she said. Doctors believe the rapper suffered from a seizure but the cause of his alleged illness is unknown, Woman’s Day Australia wrote. He was released from the hospital hours later and reportedly plans to perform Friday and Saturday in Sydney.

Wife Kim Kardashian was not spotted during the visit, the news site wrote. However, she took to Instagram Wednesday evening and posted a picture of herself with her husband. “Me and my bae,” she captioned the picture. The picture received nearly 400,000 likes after it was posted to the social media site for less than an hour.

She tweeted several times Wednesday and did not mention if West was rushed to the hospital. None of her messages seemed out of the ordinary. Instead, she shared photos of herself and outfits in typical fashion.
