Drake and Diddy avoided each other on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City Monday thanks to traffic.

Diddy took the stage at Madison Square Garden to present the award for best hip hop video. Drake beat out Desiigner, Byson Tiller, Chance the Rapper and 2 Chainz for the award with his song “Hotline Bling.” However, the Canadian rapper didn’t come out to accept the award. Did it have something to do with Drake’s ongoing feud with Diddy? According to the presenter, Drake couldn’t accept the award because he was “stuck in traffic”!

For those that can’t keep track of the feuds, Diddy and Drake were involved in a “brawl” at a Miami nightclub in December 2014. The two reportedly got into a physical altercation over the song “0 to 100/ The Catch.” According to TMZ, Diddy felt “disrespected” because Drake recorded the song without him. He allegedly punched Drake after the 29-year-old “blew him off.”

It’s unclear if the beef still stands, but Drake will have to face him in order to get his Moonman.
