Disc jockey Adam Goldstein, also known as DJ AM, was found dead at his New York apartment Friday night, his publicist Jenni Weinman said in a statement, according to CNN.

DJ AM was found unconscious and unresponsive in his lower Manhattan apartment yesterday afternoon.

The cause of death has not been determined and there is no criminal activity suspected as of now.
DJ AM had survived a fatal private plane crash in South Carolina last year.

The incident left him and Blink-152' Travis Barker seriously injured. Only the two of them survived.
