Stocks extended a broad advance on Tuesday, led by commodity-related shares, after a source said euro zone countries have decided in principle to help debt-stricken Greece.

The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> jumped 195.36 points, or 1.97 percent, to 10,103.75. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> gained 18.66 points, or 1.77 percent, to 1,075.40. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> rose 31.26 points, or 1.47 percent, to 2,157.31. (Reporting by Wall Street team)
