‘DWTS’ Pro Val Chmerkovskiy Calls ‘SYTYCD’ All-Star Jenna Johnson His ‘Queen’

“Dancing With the Stars” pro Val Chmerkovskiy and “So You Think You Can Dance” all-star Jenna Johnson are couple goals!

Over the past few weeks, the couple has been posting sweet photos on their respective Instagram accounts. Most recently, the 31-year-old professional dancer on ABC’s reality TV show shared a photo of his girlfriend and wrote a sweet message for Johnson along with it. In his post, Chmerkovskiy, who has been linked to several women in the past, said that the latter J in her name stands for “joy,” E for “eternal,” the two Ns for “New York” “n Utah” and A for “adoration.”

The couple has been in an on-again, off-again relationship for the past two years, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Last year, Chmerkovskiy was linked to his “DWTS” partner, Amber Rose, but their relationship ended in February. During that time, Chmerkovskiy stopped seeing Johnson, but they got back together two months ago. And it looks he may be sticking with Johnson for good.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight last week, Chmerkovskiy admitted to catching the “wedding bug” after attending his older brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s wedding to Peta Murgatroyd. “Yeah, is that what it’s called? The wedding bug? Or have I gained a different perspective on, you know, what love is and what happiness is? You know, I’m in a great place and I’m in love, and I’m very grateful for that,” he said.

Meanwhile, even though Johnson and Chmerkovskiy have not yet confirmed their return for the upcoming new season of “Dancing With the Stars,” the two see each other on the set of Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” Johnson is currently working with ballroom dancer Kiki Nyemchek, while Chmerkovskiy has been invited to choreograph a routine for one of the other pairs.

After her stint in “SYTYCD” Season 14, Johnson is expected to return to “Dancing With the Stars” where she will be seeing more of her boyfriend. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Johnson will be working with a celebrity this season, but Chmerkovskiy will most definitely be paired with one.

“So You Think You Can Dance” Season 14 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
