The Eastland Center shopping mall outside Detroit has closed for the day after shots were fired inside the premises, according to local reports. Police are still in search of a shooter after locking down the mall following a smattering of gunfire. Few details are known, but WXYZ-TV in Detroit says local police have confirmed the incident and said nobody was hurt.

With almost 100 stores, the shopping center is located in Harper Woods, Michigan, the station reported.

Jason Hammerle, a sergeant with the Harper Woods Police Department, told the Detroit Free Press the suspect is believed to have fled the shopping complex.

Police said the incident happened after an altercation involving three men near a Target store, WXYZ reported. Police are said to be looking for a male in his early 20s and wearing a black shirt and short pants, who may have fled the scene in a gray Range Rover, according to the Detroit News. The vehicle may have been driven by a woman wearing a yellow top.

Two people, a man and a woman, were shot at the same mall in August 2014. Their wounds were not fatal.
