The Rock and CM Punk will headline Sunday’s “Elimination Chamber” Pay-Per-View as they fight for the WWE title, but only one match will take place in an actual chamber.

The No.1 contenders match will feature six former World Heavyweight Champions, who are seeking to reclaim the belt. Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry and Chris Jericho, will all compete in the Elimination Chamber match. The winner will face the champion at WrestleMania 29.

Current champ Alberto Del Rio will face Big Show at the PPV for a chance to defend the belt at MetLife Stadium in April. Here’s a prediction for the most likely candidates to win the 2013 Elimination Chamber match.

Randy Orton

One of the most decorated superstars in the history of the WWE, Orton hasn’t held a title since Sept. 18, 2011. Injuries and a suspension has held back one of the most popular wrestlers on the roster.

For months, there have been rumors that the company has big plans for Orton, and might put him in the World Heavyweight title match at WrestleMania. Orton has expressed his desire to, once again, play the role of a heel. With Del Rio being a decided favorite to beat Big Show, it would make sense that a heel Orton would face a baby face Del Rio.

Mark Henry

Before Henry was forced to leave the WWE for nine months because of a shoulder injury, he may have been the top heel in the company. Henry was a dominant force, putting many superstars in the “Hall of Pain.”

After the Royal Rumble, Henry came back with a vengeance, injuring defenseless wrestlers, and even defeating Orton on last week’s edition of “SmackDown.” It certainly looks like Vince McMahon is setting up Henry to be a top heel and it would make sense to see him fight for the World Heavyweight championship at the biggest PPV of the year.

Jack Swagger

In September, Swagger was taken off of television, after having gone on a three-month losing streak. He made his return on Feb. 1 with a new look, and may be getting a serious push.

On this past edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Swagger beat Zack Ryder to earn a spot in the match, with his new manager, Zeb Colter, at ringside. After the victory, Coulter grabbed the microphone and cut a promo, condemning the diversity of the United States. The WWE may be setting up a feud between the “Real American” and the “Mexican Aristocrat.”

Predicted Winner: Jack Swagger
