Elin Nordegren, the embattled wife of Tiger Woods, will remain married to the professional golfer for the sake of the two children the couple has together according to reports from NY Daily News citing PEOPLE.com.

According to the report, Nordegren being a child of divorce herself does not want to put her children Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months, through the same experience.

The report stated Nordegren as being a person who believes in parents staying together.

The couple were married in 2004.
