Fox announced that Prison Break is coming to an end after four seasons.

Prison Break had a hell of a fun, but the run has ended. This will be the last year of the show, Kevin Reilly, Fox president, told reporters at the TV Critics Press Tour.

The action drama, starring Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, will begin airing its final episodes this spring starting April 17.

We want to finish strong, Reilly said.
