The euro and German Bund futures were little changed on Thursday after the European Central Bank left interest rates unchanged at 1.00 percent.

The decision was widely expected, with the market focused on ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet's news conference at 1230 GMT.

The euro was up 0.4 percent against the dollar EUR= at $1.2033, steady compared with just before the decision.

Bund futures FGBLU0 were little changed, down 1 tick on the day at 129.19.

The FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 index of leading European shares was up 0.7 percent at 1,005.60 points, recovering after briefly paring gains following the decision.
