Actors Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are reportedly first-time parents. Multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly Tuesday that the couple of three years and former “The Place Beyond the Pines” co-stars welcomed a baby girl on Friday.

News of the couple’s new arrival came seven months after Mendes, 40, denied pregnancy rumors during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Following reports that she declined to walk through an airport security scanner after telling a TSA worker she was expecting, Mendes called the pregnancy rumors “ridiculous.” “It all started because I didn’t want to go through those scanners at the airport," she said. "They basically see you naked and not only that, but there is a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal patdown.”

Despite Mendes’ claims, OK! Magazine revealed that the “Hitch” actress was seven months pregnant with Gosling’s child in July. A source told the tabloid the pregnancy with her 33-year-old boyfriend was a “dream come true” for Mendes. “She’s been ready for motherhood for a while now,” said a source.

During her pregnancy, Mendes intentionally remained out of the public eye. “[She] has been hiding at her home but she’s not alone,” Star magazine reported in July. “Ryan has been by Eva’s side night and day since she found out the happy news,” said an insider. “He’s so amazingly considerate and thoughtful, always taking care of Eva.”

Mendes and Gosling started dating in 2011. The duo met while filming the Derek Ciafrance film “The Place Beyond the Pines."
