Upcoming cooperative/competitive shooter “Evolve” will reach the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC next Tuesday, and GameSpot just launched a live-action trailer for the game, which shows a team of four players hunting down a friend, who evolves into a giant monster.

Check out the trailer below:

“Evolve” will be the first game of its kind – a shooter developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by 2K Games that will allow four players to cooperatively hunt another player in the guise of a monster. The player who takes on the role of the monster, Goliath, Kraken, Wraith or Behemoth hunts and kills alone, while the team of four can hunt in four classes – assault, trapper, medic and support.

Development for “Evolve” began in 2011, when now-defunct publisher THQ acquired publishing rights for the game. In December 2012, Take-Two Interactive took over the game’s progress when THQ went bankrupt. The game was originally scheduled to reach players on Oct. 21 last year, but was delayed until Feb. 10. 2K launched a closed beta on Jan. 16 for the PC, Jan. 15 for the Xbox One and on Jan. 19 for the PlayStation 4.

New gameplay for “Evolve” was unveailed during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in 2014, when 2K also announced in-game monster “The Kraken” alongside three other monsters. In November of last year, Turtle Rock Studios confirmed that all downloadable content maps will be free.
