Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis appeared to have moved on from their relationship drama as they were spotted hugging and smiling together this week.

On Friday, the former couple was captured on camera hanging out in public in Los Angeles. The clip released by TMZ showed Sudeikis, 47, and Wilde, 38, casually walking together in a parking lot. Toward the end of the video, they stopped their stroll to have a heart-to-heart conversation.

According to the outlet, the exes had just attended a meeting before they were spotted by the paparazzi. It seemed to have gone well since the two were in good spirits when they were making their way to the parking lot.

Additional photos from their sighting released by the Daily Mail showed the "Saturday Night Live" alum and the "Don't Worry Darling" director embracing after their chat and before going their separate ways.

Both Sudeikis and Wilde, who never married but were in a relationship for nine years, kept it casual for their outing. The funnyman sported a gray hoodie, navy blue pants, gray sneakers and a baseball cap. Meanwhile, the actress donned a yellow sweatshirt, faded jeans and a pair of yellow Adidas trainers.

The sighting may come as a surprise to their fans, considering that they had a rough 2022 due to their messy fight for custody over their two kids, Otis, 8, and Daisy, 6.

Their custody battle made headlines and sparked numerous speculations after the "House" actress was publicly served with legal documents while she was presenting at CinemaCon last April, according to Us Weekly.

The move prompted Wilde to tell Variety in August 2022 that she was upset by the "Ted Lasso" star's gesture because the documents were handed to her in the middle of her presentation.

"It was my workplace. In any other workplace, it would be seen as an attack. It was really upsetting. It shouldn't have been able to happen. There was a huge breach in security, which is really scary. ... I hated that this nastiness distracted from the work of so many different people and the studio that I was up there representing," she said at the time.

Their falling-out also became tabloid fodder when a former nanny for their children detailed some of their disputes when Wilde started dating her now-ex-boyfriend Harry Styles, 28.

However, Sudeikis and Wilde slammed the accusations made by their ex-nanny in a joint statement they issued to E! News in October last year.

"As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly," the former couple said at the time.
