An amateur video of a concert in Salta, Argentina captured footage of a meteor exploding in the night sky, lighting the sky briefly on April 21, 2013. The light the meteor created was so bright that it turned the night sky into day as it disintegrated. According to La Gaceta, an Argentinian newspaper, the director of the Astronomical Observatory of Santa Fe said the meteor was about 20 centimeters (7-8 inches) in diameter. Amateur video along with traffic cameras captured the aerial light show that was seen for hundreds of miles.
