Happy Tuesday! Although it’s not even halfway through the workweek, there is reason to celebrate on Sept. 22 -- Six TV shows are premiering tonight! TV lovers can look forward to the return of three old favorites, and the series premieres of three new shows that are bound to become a weekly “must-watch.”

You’ll want to be in front of your TV starting at 8 p.m. EDT for the first round of premieres – “The Muppets,” “NCIS” and “Scream Queens.” Those looking for some laughs will definitely want to check out new TV shows “The Muppets” and “Scream Queens.” “The Muppets,” which airs on ABC, will reunite everyone with their favorite puppets in a “documentary-style” show similar to “The Office.” However, these aren’t the innocent “Muppets” you remember. Miss Piggy and Kermit are going through a rough breakup. Meanwhile, “Scream Queens” on Fox will have you laughing and screaming at the same time. The new series – starring Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and Jamie Lee Curtis – is about a mean girl sorority plagued with a deadly past.

Finally at 8 p.m. EDT is the return of “NCIS” on CBS. The drama left off with a major cliffhanger at the end of Season 12, and fans are uncertain if Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will even survive the first episode of Season 13.

Moving along to 8:30 p.m. EDT is ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat,” which is heading into its second season. Then at 9 p.m. EDT is the return of “NCIS: New Orleans” on CBS, also kicking off its sophomore run.

Rounding out the night at 10 p.m. EDT is the series premiere of “Limitless” on CBS. Based off of the 2011 movie of the same name, viewers will meet Brian Sinclair (Jake McDorman), a man who has the ability to “use the full extent of his brain capabilities.” Original movie star Bradley Cooper will also appear in a couple episodes, reprising his role as Eddie Morra.
