“Family Guy” is heading into its 13th season, and the animated Fox comedy is breaking out all the stops to make this year the best season ever. The Seth MacFarlane created show kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 28 with the highly anticipated “The Simpsons” crossover episode – but the fun won’t stop there. Check out 7 guest stars to look forward to in “Family Guy” Season 13:

1. “The Simpsons” Cast – To start the season of “Family Guy,” the cast of “The Simpsons” will be interacting with the Griffin family in the premiere episode, “The Simpsons Guy.” Hank Azaria (Moe, Apu, Chief Wiggum, Carl Calson, Lou, Dr. Nick Riviera, Bumblee Man), Nancy Cartwright (Bart, Todd, Nelson, Ralph), Dan Castellaneta (Homer, Barney, Hans, Kodos), Julie Kavner (Marge, Patty, Selma), and Yeardley Smith (Lisa) will all be featured in the crossover episode.

2. Julie Bowen – “Modern Family” actress Julie Bowen will somehow get tied into the “Family Guy”/ “The Simpsons” shenanigans in episode 1. Bowen will make a guest appearance in the Season 13 premiere as herself.

3. Liam Neeson – Liam Neeson will guest star as himself in an upcoming episode of “Family Guy.” According to Entertainment Weekly, Peter will meet the actor after drunkenly bragging that he could kick Liam Neeson’s butt. Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland get fed up with the bragging and bring Peter to Liam Neeson’s movie set.

4. Connie Britton – “Nashville” actress Connie Britton will make her way to Quahog in a cutway gag for an October episode titled, “Baking Bad.” The cutaway gag will feature Peter breaking into Connie Britton’s home.

5. Tony Sirico – “Sopranos” star Tony Sirico is very familiar to “Family Guy” fans. Last season Sirico played Vinny the dog – the animal that replaced Brian after he “died.” The actor will be returning – but not at the cost of Brian’s life.  According to Entertainment Weekly, Sirico will be featured in some live-action moments.

“He is irrirated about what’s being said a couple different times throughout one episode,” executive producer Steve Callaghan dished to EW. “Anytime someone says something about Italians, we cut to Tony Sirico in his kitchen to get his reaction.”

6. Allison Janney – It’s unknown if “Mom” star Allison Janney will be playing herself in the upcoming season of “Family Guy,” however the actress has “somewhat appeared” on the animated comedy previously. In Season 5 Peter stole a giraffe from the zoo and named it after the actress.

7. Lea Thompson – Lea Thompson, best known for her role as Lorraine in “Back to the Future.” The actress reprised the role in a “Back to the Future” bit for Season 12 of Family Guy.” No word on whether she’ll return as Lorraine or be playing a different role.

8. Joe Buck – Sportscaster Joe Buck is set to provide a guest voice in Season 13. Information on his appearance has not been released.

9. Jeff Garlin – “Goldbergs” star Jeff Garlin will be making his way to “Family Guy” in Season 13. Information on his appearance has not been released. 10. Cesar Millan – “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan tweeted in mid-May that he was doing a voice over for the upcoming season of “Family Guy.”
