Did anyone watch the series premiere of the new FX drama “Fargo”? We did. And we're kind of surprised that we liked it so much. OK, yeah, we were a bit pessimistic when we heard the news that the iconic Coen brothers film was being adapted for a TV series. But after we saw episode 1 of the dark comedy, we were hooked. Now we can hardly think of anything besides when the next episode will air!
Episode 2, “The Rooster Prince,” debuts on Tuesday, April 22. Luckily for fans, we’ve got the scoop on what to expect! The official synopsis of the Noah Hawley–written episode says Molly will begin to suspect Lester is involved with the murders. However, her gut feeling will be pushed aside when her new boss points her in a different direction.
Officer Thurman would have never dismissed Molly’s police work. In fact, he was the only one who seemed to believe she could hold the position of sheriff in the future. Now, with a new head honcho, Molly will be looking for all the wrong clues in all the wrong places.
“The Rooster Prince” also teases that Malvo will be investigating a “blackmail plot against a man known as the Supermarket King.” A promo photo can bolster the summary as the picture shows Thornton’s character suspiciously lurking throughout the food store.
Another image from the batch of leaked promo pictures shows Lester attempting to fix his noisy washer machine. Is it just us, or is there something oddly eerie about the cleaning device? Initially, we thought Lester’s wife was going to be washed to her death. Then the timid protagonist surprised us with a hammer.
