While some dads are easy to shop for, conjuring up gifts for others can be painstaking. But whether your father is a serious businessman, fitness guru, top chef, sports enthusiast, tech-savvy or somewhere in between, there is definitely the perfect gift out there for the annual dad appreciation day within your budget.
According to a shopping survey conducted by PriceGrabber, 57 percent plan to spend less than $100 gifts on Dad. Similarly, 56 percent said they will shop deals online to get the best bargain on gifts for Father's Day.
Consumers are still budget conscience and will look for deals when Father's Day shopping this year, general manager of PriceGrabber Graham Jones said in a press release. It's not surprising to see that retailer tactics such as free shipping, price cuts, sales and coupons will help sweeten the deal when enticing consumers to buy gifts for Dad this holiday.
However, don't stall your shopping any longer as competition for gifting will become hectic with over 70 percent of shoppers planning to buy gifts within the two week window before Father's Day, some even waiting until the last 48 hours.
If you're still out of ideas during crunch time, here are some of the best Father's Day gift ideas for 2012 from tools to popular gadgets and everything in between.
