British actress Felicity Jones has been named the new face of Dolce & Gabbana, Women's Wear Daily reports.

The 28-year-old will be part of The Make Up collection, a line that has been represented by Scarlett Johansson since 2009.

Representing a heady mix of sensuality, confidence and beauty, Felicity Jones offers a sense of divine contradiction. Classically beautiful yet modern in attitude, her audacious gaze is impossible to ignore, the Italian luxury fashion house said in a statement obtained by WWD.

Jones' first ad campaign with Dolce & Gabbana will appear in January, when the company releases its Khol Collection. According to the fashion house, the image used in the campaign will portray Jones as an aristocratic, sauvage girl.

This is not the first time Jones has been hired for a luxury fashion campaign. In July, the University of Oxford alum was announced as the new face of Burberry.

Outside of fashion, Jones has had quite the year on the big screen. Her work in Drake Doremus' romantic drama Like Crazy earned Jones a Special Grand Jury Prize for acting at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

The film, which also stars Anton Yelchin and Jennifer Lawrence, has also been receiving Oscar buzz.

Jones, whose previous films include Cemetery Junction with Ricky Gervais and The Tempest with Helen Mirren, has looked up to Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet as role models.

It's just unbelievable how they manage to make such incredible choices one after the other. If you could have a career anything like that, then that would be a great thing, Jones told Interview Magazine.

Her next film is the comedy drama, Cheerful Weather for the Wedding, opposite Elizabeth McGovern.

Like Crazy is currently playing in limited release in the U.S.
