A big congratulations are in order for Fergie and Josh Duhamel after the couple just welcomed their baby boy, Axl Jack! Their family of two has now become three, People magazine confirmed on Thursday.

The Black Eyed Peas singer reportedly underwent a C-section in an unnamed Los Angeles hospital. Little Axl weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. at birth, and both mother and son are said to be doing well, the celebrity magazine added. Fergie’s real name used to be Stacy Ann Ferguson, until she legally changed it to Fergie Duhamel before their little boy was born so the new family would all have the same name

According to TMZ, the couple's first child is named after Guns 'n' Roses frontman Axel Rose -- taking “Sweet Child Of Mine” to a whole different level. The “Fergalicious” star is said to be recuperating post-birth in one of the V.I.P. suites, which has been vacated by some of Hollywood’s best.

Both Fergie and Duhamel have expressed how elated they were to welcome an addition to their family. “He’s going to be an amazing father. He’s got natural parenting instincts,” she told People in April, adding that her husband wanted to start a family with her after their first date.

Fergie, 38, told "Good Morning America” how excited she was to become a first-time mom.

"We're thrilled! I know that my husband told everybody what I said. My quote when we found out [was] 'This s--- just got real,,” she said, joking.

"But it's true, when that moment occurs to you, there's going to be a human being growing inside of you. … it's reality," she continued. "It's amazing, we're thrilled."

Duhamel shared similar sentiments:

"It's very exciting. … [It's] unlike anything you've ever seen. You're like, 'Wow, it's mine,'" Duhamel told People about becoming a father back in February.
