It was good to have the whole S.T.A.R. Labs team back together after Barry's (Grant Gustin) ill-advised stint as a solo crime fighter in the Season 2 premiere of "The Flash" on the CW. The timing could not be better either because, with newcomer Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) promising trouble ahead with a new villain named Zoom (Tony Todd), it appears the superhero is going to need all the help he can get in episode 2, "Flash of Two Worlds."

According to the synopsis for the new episode, Jay Garrick, the mysterious man from Earth-2 who appeared at S.T.A.R. Labs at the end of the premiere, has a dire warning about an evil speedster named Zoom who is out to destroy the Flash. Barry already knows Zoom exists thanks to Atom Smasher (Adam Copeland), episode 1's meta-human bad guy who, with his dying breaths, told Barry he was sent by Zoom to kill the Flash. However, Barry still has doubts about whether or not he can trust the interplanetary visitor.

The promo for the episode, though, reveals that Barry and Garrick may have more in common than he thinks.

"Where I came from, they call me the Flash," Garrick confesses.

Two Flashes? That might come in handy against episode 2's new foe. Zoom will send a meta-human named Sand Demon (Kett Turton) -- Garrick coined the name, sort of stepping on Cisco's (Carlos Valdes) toes. The villain looks like bad news in the promo.

Plus, the synopsis reveals that episode 2 will introduce Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten), a forensic scientist and Joe's (Jesse Martin) new partner who might do a number on Barry's heart.

Is Jay Garrick really who he says he is? Will he help Barry with Zoom and Sand Demon? Fans will have to wait to find out. "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW.
