Philadelphia Eagles guard Evan Mathis made his feelings towards the Internal Revenue Service very clear Thursday.

Mathis posted a picture on his Instagram account, with him posing as if he was urinating on a sign in front of the government agency, with the caption: “Audit this.”

The IRS admitted to targeting specific political groups back in May 2012, and the head of the agency, Steven Miller. was forced to resign by President Barack Obama Wednesday.

The whole scandal has incensed both Democrats and Republicans, but most of all the American public, and Mathis clearly decided to rebel in his own, unique way.

Pro Football Talk pointed out a comment from one of Mathis’s Twitter followers and the 31-year-old’s response:

"Evan MathisVerified account‏@EvanMathis69

How high are we counting? RT @DCFanaticsBlog: Evan Mathis will be apologizing later today. Count on that."

While that statement seems to mean Mathis won't back down, it will be interesting to see how the NFL or the Eagles react. Mathis is in the second year of a five-year, $25 million contract he signed with Philadelphia last year.
