Lady Sonia McMahon has been admitted to intensive care unit last weekend and is now recovering at a Sydney hospital today.

A spokesman from the hospital has released a statement that the lady is now in a stable condition and is expected to be released from the intensive care unit today.

This widow of the former Prime Minister, Sir William McMahon, was admitted to St. Vincent private hospital in Sydney after having her lungs drained out of fluid on Thursday.

Lady McMahon has been battling with cancer for several months now.
