An Australian DJ was found dead Saturday morning after attempting to assist his injured colleague.

Adam Neat, 42, who went by the stage name DJ Adam Sky and was one of the top DJs in Asia, is believed to have been drinking beers Friday night with his employee and friend, Zoia Lukiantceva, when she fell from his private terrace's pool area at his villa at Hillstone Villas Resort in Bali, according to News.Com.Au.

Lukiantceva ended up falling over 30 feet from their terrace, fracturing her leg. Local police believe Neat ran to help Lukiantceva but never made it to her, as he crashed through another villa’s full-length glass door trying to reach her.

Neat suffered a severe wound to his right arm, near his elbow, which "affected his artery," South Kuta Police chief Comr. Doddy Monza told the Jakarta Post. "He likely died from losing too much blood."

His body was found Saturday morning when a hotel employee found Lukiantceva lying in the bushes with her injured leg.

"Lukiantceva survived and has been taken to the hospital. However, [Neat] was already dead when he was found," Doddy said.

On Sunday, Neat's publicist confirmed his sad death on his Instagram page, writing, "It is with great regret that we can confirm Adam Neat was involved in a fatal accident while trying to help a friend who had suffered multiple fractures in Bali on Saturday 4th May 2019."

The post continued, "Relatives and friends of Adam are traveling to Bali today and handling all arrangements. We ask you to respect the families' privacy at this moment while we all come to terms with our tragic loss."

Neat leaves behind a wife, Marvie Jean, who has yet to comment publicly about his death.
