Fans of Fox's Fringe show have a reason to rejoice -- the drama has been picked up for a fourth season.

Thursday afternoon J.H. Wyman, an executive producer on the Fox drama, tweeted this to fans: ??Fringe was picked up!!!! Thanks Fringedom!

A network spokeswoman confirmed the show received a full season pickup.

Word of the pickup comes after the drama fell to its lowest rating ever last Friday.

It dropped 13 percent to 3.8 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in the adult demo. Supporters blame the slowdown on the pick up of the college basketball season, as well as the change in time in the US.

Despite the lull, Fox reports that the show is top show at night this season across broadcast and cable.
