With the number of deaths rapidly increasing daily, Gazans are having difficulty finding place to bury the dead.

The death toll in the Israeli – Palestinian conflict has risen to 940 and with the number of places available for burial becoming less and less Gazans are resorting to burying their loved ones together in same graves.

One family buried a slain son over his grandfather. Another bundled up the tiny bodies of three young cousins and lowered them into the grave of a long-dead aunt. A man was laid to rest with his brother.

Cemeteries that were previously closed for burial throughout Gaza City have now reopened.
