The German government said on tuesday it may have to scrap some of its renewable energy targets if jobs are threatened.

Economy Minister Philipp Roesler said the country may readjust alternative energy targets set to meet the planned exit from nuclear energy by 2022, a goal Berlin is struggling to implement.
