Giant Lego Man
Giant Lego Man Jeff Hindman/Boing Boing

A giant yellow Lego man wearing red pants and a green shirt was found washed up on a Florida beach.

He is 8-feet tall and weighs 100 pounds, a local Fox affiliate reported.

The front of his T-shirt reads NO REAL THAN YOU ARE. The back reads Ego Leonard and the number eight.

He was found by Jeff Hindman, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported, who was walking on the beach in Siesta Key when he came upon the Lego man.

I worked with Lego in my younger days, but this piece is amazing, it's still there on the beach, Hindman told the blog Boing Boing.

This is not the only giant Lego man to wash up on a shore.

An almost identical giant Lego man was found off of a Dutch beach in 2007. Media outlets have connected both to the Web site EgoLeonard.nl.

My name is Ego Leonard and according to you I come from the virtual world, the Web site reads. A world that for me represents happiness, solidarity, all green and blossoming, with no rules or limitations.
