Gigi Hadid is furious about rumors suggesting she and boyfriend Cody Simpson snorted cocaine at a Victoria's Secret event in Miami. She took a moment Tuesday to address the situation on Twitter, saying, “I know who I am and what I stand for.” The 19-year-old model added that she lives a healthy life and is “a good, hardworking, responsible person.” She told her Twitter followers she was “insulted” anyone would try to assassinate her character.

Hadid also attacked the site responsible for posting the video initially, calling them “the pits of the world.”

“It's very sad that you need to go to those lengths for someone to maybe read your s--- blog,” she tweeted, later deleting it.

MJ Day, editor of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, came to Hadid's defense. Day posted a photo on Instagram, backing her character and denying that there was any truth to the rumors.

“I KNOW Gigi and she has never disappointed me or this franchise. I call bulls---- on everything,” she wrote.

The rumors began after 18-year-old Simpson posted a video from the weekend spring break event on his snapchat, showing a bikini-clad Hadid taking a break from dancing, bending down and putting her face on or near a table. It is unclear what she's doing, but many assumed there was cocaine on the table. Hadid, who is the daughter of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster, tweeted, “There is nothing on the counter,” adding that the allegations were “not only impossible but insane.” She has since deleted the angry tweet. Simpson has not yet addressed the video or rumors.

This isn't the first time one of Foster's daughters found herself on the wrong side of substance abuse rumors. Her youngest daughter, Bella Hadid, was arrested for driving under the influence last July. The aftermath of the incident played out on an episode of “Real Housewives,” showing Foster receiving the news while vacationing in Spain with castmate Kyle Richards. After the incident, rumors of the 18-year-old's party habits began swirling; Brandi Glanville brought those claims to Foster's attention, revealing that she had heard the teen had a drinking problem.

Foster addressed the arrest in her Bravo TV blog, writing that Bella's choices that day were "shocking and disappointing." The teen has since gone off to college in New York and has stayed out of trouble. She is trying to following in the footsteps of both her mother and older sister by breaking into the modeling world.
