Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen posted a cryptic message to Instagram Tuesday that led some people to think she was talking about her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and the Deflategate scandal. The mother of two didn’t explain her post. Instead, the caption on the photo was translated in Portuguese so her Brazilian fans could understand it.

“Nobody is perfect,” the quote from notsalmon.com read. “But you can’t keep using that as an excuse to do wrong or not try to improve.” The post was liked more than 64,000 times by her 6.2 million followers. Most of her fans agreed in the comment section and deemed the quote a “truth.”

Since the past few months haven’t been easy for Brady, 38, thanks to Deflategate, some people assumed the post was about him. As the football scandal raged on, he and Bündchen, 35, also were plagued by divorce rumors.

"They had a very rough few months and the Deflategate scandal took its toll on their marriage," an insider told Eonline.com Tuesday. "Tom was very difficult to be around and withdrawn. Gisele was supportive, but she also was frustrated with his stress level and anger. She felt like he was taking things out on her and not being fair."

But the couple reportedly have been able to reconnect since a judge ruled Sept. 3 that Brady should not have been suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for four games. "It's a fresh start for them, a new environment and they are excited about that," an insider said. "They have both put a lot of time and energy into making it perfect for their family. For now, they are staying together and trying to work things out. Neither of them want the marriage to end and they are hoping that this last year of hard times will make them stronger."

The 2015 football season is off to a good start for Brady. He and the Patriots beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-21 on opening day Thursday.
