Grace Vanderwaal has shared that she’s lactose intolerant.

Just recently, the “America’s Got Talent” Season 11 finalist shared a photo of herself via her Instagram account. In the pic, the 12-year-old singer/composer looks as though she is contemplating about something very important. As it turns out, Vanderwaal has passed by an ice cream shop and wanted to buy dessert. However, she didn’t bring her Lactaid at the time, so she couldn’t indulge in a scoop or two.

Meanwhile, Vanderwaal is gearing up for the semifinals on the hit NBC reality TV show. This week, the Suffern native wowed all four judges after she sang an original composition that she wrote for her sister, according to Billboard. “Beautiful Thing” is about Vanderwaal and her sister’s relationship with each other. As best friends, the singer said that she never gets bored when she’s spending time with her sibling.

In fact, Vanderwaal recently spoke with Teen Vogue to share some information about her life. A video posted online by the publication featured Vanderwaal talking, hugging and laughing with her sister Olivia. In the clip, the “I Don’t Know My Name” singer shared that she and her 15-year-old sister love to ride their bicycles together. Every time they do so, they would head to the gas station to buy Pop Rocks candy.

Olivia also shared that a lot of people have been telling Vanderwaal that she looks like a mini Taylor Swift because they have similar haircut, body type and face. However, Vanderwaal begged to differ that she and Swift have the same voice. “But for the sound of my voice are always the exact same singers, Mellie Martinez… Sia,” she said. “And you do sound like them honestly,” Olivia reaffirmed.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 11 airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
