Brace yourselves, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans, because rumor has it the Season 11 finale is going to pretty intense! Or at least, that’s what Kevin McKidd, who plays Owen Hunt on the hit ABC series, predicted for the final episode titled “You’re My Home.”

“I’m hoping for something big and I think it might be something big. I don’t know yet, but my feeling is that it will be something big,” the actor dished to Entertainment Weekly in April when asked if the finale would be just as wild as the previous ones.

And he was right. Viewers can expect a “something big” to occur -- specifically between Owen and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone). A sneak-peek clip from the final episode confirms that viewers can anticipate a sweet moment to occur between the tumultuous lovers who ended their romance just as quickly as it began.

“He’s still alive,” the neurosurgeon tells Owen, revealing to viewers that the doctors were able to save the life of the man who was nearly crushed to death in the tunnel collapse that occured in the previous episode. The victim was badly injured, so severe infact that April (Sarah Drew) dubbed him a “black tag.” However, where there’s a will, there’s a way and Jackson’s (Jesse William) wife managed to muster up the remaining little bit of will she had left to try and save the soon-to-be-father’s life. She had the totaled car delivered straight to the hospital doors to give the injured party a chance at surviving.

“I know. And the girlfriend?” Owen asks about the status of the man’s pregnant partner (Heather Matarazzo). Matarazzo’s character was forced to give birth to her baby after enduring a short stint of being paralyzed due to an injured neck.

“Out of surgery, awake, not paralyzed,” Amelia says.

“Excellent work,” Owen responds to the good news.

After their exchange, there is a moment of silence. It seems like Amelia doesn't want their riveting conversation to end so she brings up the news that Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is planning on selling her house following Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) death.

“Where are you going to go?” Owen asks, worried about what might happen to his former beau.

“I’ll find something. Maybe she’ll let me keep the trailer!” Amelia says.

That’s when Owen jumps in teasing that maybe they should look into homes that don’t get parking tickets.

“Come on! You won’t miss being able to reach your toaster from your toilet?” Amelia jokes before seriously stating, “I really want this to work.”

“Yeah?” Owen asks optimistically, thinking that Amelia is referring to their relationship.

But of course we all know she’s not. Amelia is probably stating her hopefulness that the injured tunnel patient survives his impending surgery. Poor, Owen!
