Gwen Stefani has been surrounded with several pregnancy rumors over the past few weeks, and now a new report claims that “The Voice” star is desperate to have a baby with Blake Shelton. The news comes amid a Star magazine report that claimed Stefani was upset as she recently suffered a miscarriage.

Gossip Cop magazine debunked Stefani’s miscarriage rumors, accusing Star magazine of fabricating the report. According to Star magazine, Stefani was pictured leaving Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angles on Feb. 22, and that she visited the hospital because of her miscarriage.

Stefani and Shelton have been “trying to conceive for four months,” a source told Star magazine, according to Gossip Cop, adding that now the couple “may have to abandon their hopes for a child together.” The source also said: “She doesn’t want to talk about it, but her friends are afraid she might have had a miscarriage or was told that she can’t have any more kids.”

The source also reportedly said that Stefani, who has three children from her previous marriage with Gavin Rossdale, was devastated and heartbroken following the miscarriage.

“Gwen and Blake are so in love and have been trying like crazy to conceive a baby. They thought it happened — she told him she had all the signs of being pregnant,” the source reportedly said. “They were absolutely ecstatic and couldn’t wait for the doctor to confirm the happy news.”

The Star magazine source alleged that Stefani was “scared Blake would leave her if she couldn’t have his baby,” Gossip Cop reported, citing the Star magazine report.

However, Hollywood Life reported that its sources have revealed the truth about Shelton and Stefani’s baby plans.

“They are not trying to have a baby, but if an accident happens they wouldn’t consider it an accident. They would embrace it and love it if it happened. The thing is, they are having a lot of fun together and as much as a child would be amazing, they are not actively trying for it. They are taking things day by day and enjoying the honeymoon phase that they are still in,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

Several rumors surfaced about Stefani and Shelton’s wedding and family plans. However, all such reports have been debunked.

Last month, OK! Magazine claimed Stefani was trying to hide her baby bump by placing her arms and phone in front of her stomach, and that she looked nervous.

Stefani debunked the reports by joking about the pregnancy rumors through an Instagram post, which showed the 46-year-old shocked as she read a magazine whose cover read, “Gwen pregnant with alien baby!”

Stefani and Shelton, who announced their relationship in November, have been going strong despite several reports about their split. Some reports have also claimed that their respective exes, Miranda Lambert and Rossdale, have been trying to make it difficult for the two lovers to settle down. However, Stefani and Shelton have not addressed any such rumors.

Most recently, the couple made their first red carpet debut together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday. On Wednesday, Stefani shared a cute photo of her with Shelton from the party on her Instagram account.
