Gyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba and Will.i.Am will star in Apple Music’s upcoming reality show, “Planet of the Apps.”

According to USA Today, the reality TV show will center on people who have great ideas for apps, but don’t know how to start a business. The three celebrities will be helping them out through a series of competitions that may be viewed on the Apple Music streaming service. The premiere episode of “Planets of the Apps” will be available for free on iTunes.

Each of the 10 episodes will be released every Tuesday, and it will feature Paltrow, Alba and Will.i.Am working with investor and social media marketer Gary Vaynerchuk. The four will guide creators on how to launch their app for dating, fitness tracking, shopping and the like.

While speaking with the publication, Alba explained why she was one of the people chosen to mentor in the upcoming reality show. “We don’t have to necessarily have super-formal business backgrounds or family members with nepotism to get here. None of us are coders, none of us are engineers, none of us are programmers, but we had these ideas… and our companies were catapulted through technology, which gave us access to the world in a way that no other platform would have,” she said.

Alba also happens to be the co-founder of Honest Company, which sells natural baby and household products. Paltrow is the founder of Goop, a lifestyle brand that may be accessed online.

Meanwhile, the contestants on “Planet of the Apps” will go through several rounds of competition, which will start off with the 60-second “escalator pitch.” The advertisers listening to the contestant will vote yes or no using their iPads, and those who will receive a yes will have the chance to give their complete pitch. If more than one advertiser votes yes, the contestant will get the chance to choose whom he or she wants to work with.

There will also be a six-week incubation period for the apps that will be chosen. Throughout this time, the developer can tweak and refine the product with the help of the celebrity mentors.
