Some 300,000 Hamilton Beach toasters are being recalled, as reports are coming in of not popping up as intended, and several reports of minor damage to kitchen cabinets.

Though there were no reports of injuries, the model 22600 which has a chromed steel exterior, is a fire hazard.

Owners of model 22600 are advised to stop using it and get a replacement from the company, free of charge.
