Happy Birthday, Jennie Garth! The actress who shot to fame playing Kelly Taylor on the hit television series, Beverly Hills, 90210, turns 40 on Tuesday.

Garth has had a long and fruitful career in television. She starred in another popular TV series, What I Like About You, playing the older sister of Amanda Bynes' character. Garth also competed on the fifth season of Dancing With the Stars, where she was paired with professional dancer Derek Hough. They made it to the semifinals before being eliminated.

In 2009, Garth reprised her role as Kelly Taylor on the CW's 90210, a rehash of the old series.

Up next for Garth is a new reality TV series called Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country, which premieres on April 20 on CMT. The series will follow Garth, her daughters and an assistant as they start a new life in California's wine country.

While her professional life has stayed strong in recent years, Garth's personal life has taken quite a turn. In March, the actress and her husband, Peter Facinelli, announced that they were splitting up after more than 10 years of marriage. Facinelli recently filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences. The 38-year-old Twilight actor will also seek joint custody of the couple's three young daughters.
