“Hart of Dixie” fans, Christmas is coming early. Season 4 of The CW show will premiere early on Dec. 15, 2014, instead of the previously announced premiere date Jan. 9, 2015, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The network will premiere the dramedy right at 8 p.m. on Dec. 15, right before the “Jane the Virgin” fall finale. Don’t expect it to stay in that time slot, though. It seems that the show will only air the premiere before going on hiatus until Jan. 9. The show will resume its regular 9 p.m. EST on Fridays time slot for the remainder of the season.

Since “Jane the Virgin” is the CW’s other dramatic comedy, the network is likely hoping that the shows can share some viewers. Although it’s a critical darling, "Jane the Virgin" has not received huge ratings, and “Hart of Dixie” suffered from low ratings last year. Those low ratings sparked plenty of cancellation rumors. “Dixie” fans and actors are both concerned that the show won’t return for Season 5.

“I would love to come back and be a part of Bluebell again -- and there’s a chance -- but we really need the support of the fans to be able to come back,” Porter told Yahoo TV. “If people don’t watch, then shows don’t come back, so we just need a little help.”

The CW remains unsure about the future of the show, but the premiere will now have less competition. If the show kept the Jan. 9 premiere date, "Dixie" would have had to compete with "Glee's" final season premiere.

Although the future is uncertain, fans are a little more concerned about what’s going to happen this season rather than if they’ll get another season. The first promo video for "Hart Of Dixie" Season 4 showed Wade (Wilson Bethel) resisting Zoe’s (Rachel Bilson) attempts to seduce him. Will the shippers get their way in Season 4, or will Zoe eventually give up?

“Hart Of Dixie” Season 4 Premieres Monday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
