New mom Adele has been particularly mum about her 4-month-old baby boy’s name, but she may have inadvertently revealed it while out and about in Los Angeles Monday.

The British songstress has been in Los Angeles for awards season and has been noticeably doting on her little one, whom she welcomed with fiancé Simon Konecki in October; she has been spotted shopping at several baby stores during her stay.

Adele was seen leaving the West Hollywood baby boutique Bel Bambini on Monday, wearing a shiny gold nameplate necklace with the name “Angelo.”

After her big Best Original Song win for the James Bond theme “Skyfall” at the Golden Globes Jan. 13, Adele told People magazine that she was still bonding with her son and wished to keep his name private.

"I am not sharing his name at the moment. It is very personal to me. I am enjoying him on my own," she told the magazine.

However, a source told the British tabloid The Sun that Adele’s baby boy is in fact named Angelo.

“Those close to Adele have been told the baby is called Angelo. We’re not sure of the significance of the name,” the source said.

Omg! from Yahoo! notes that the Angelo, or Angel, derives from the Greek word for “messenger.”

“She’s wanted to keep it quiet but it was always going to come out sooner or later,” the source added.

“Wearing an Angelo necklace not only backs up what is being said, it suggests she’s not worried about people finding out.”

Thus far, Adele has only referred to her son by his nickname, “Little Peanut.”
