“Man of Steel” star Henry Cavill and “The Big Bang Theory’s” Kaley Cuoco are reportedly getting to know each other a little more intimately. According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, the Hollywood stars are an item. "They are totally hot for each other," a friend of the 30-year-old British actor told the magazine.

The two had just gotten out of unsuccessful relationships. Cavill, who is also a fan favorite to play E.L. James’ Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey," was in a 10-month relationship with actress Gina Carano until the two broke up in May, and the 27-year-old starlet had been dating musician Bret Bollinger until they split this past winter.

The two are trying to keep their burgeoning romance a secret for now, Us Weekly wrote, but Cuoco recently hinted she had a crush on the 30-year-old hunk. She tweeted a photo of the actor’s “Man of Steel” photo and urged her 1.4 million followers to check out the summer flick. "It's fantastic in every way," she wrote about the Superman reboot.

The adoration is apparently mutual, an insider told the celebrity magazine. Cavill is "a massive 'Big Bang Theory ' fan" and "has always wanted to date her.” The source added, “He’s excited to be dating her!”

Cuoco’s former flames include addiction specialist Josh "Lazie" Resnik, a former fiance, and “Big Bang” co-star Johnny Galecki. The two actors reportedly kept their two-year relationship a secret throughout the entirely of their fling.

Check out “Man of Steel,” which is still in theaters, to see Cavill’s new flick. “Big Bang Theory” with Cuoco will be coming back to CBS for its season premiere on Sept. 26 at 8/7c.
