Hugh Hefner's ex, Holly Madison, claimed in her memoir that she saw the former's last will and testament.

It's no secret that the late founder of the Playboy Magazine has an impressive fortune, so many are interested to know how much Hefner's wife, Crystal Hefner, 31, and children -- Christie Hefner, 64, David Hefner, 62, Marston Hefner, 27, and Cooper Hefner, 26 -- will receive following his death on Sept. 27.

E! News noted that Hefner's last will and testament has not been made public. However, his ex-girlfriend, Madison, wrote in her 2015 tell-all book, titled "Down the Rabbit Hole," that she saw the document on the day she was packing her things to leave the Playboy Mansion. Hefner and Madison split in 2008.

According to Madison, the documents were left on her side of the bed. The papers stated that after death tax, Hefner's fortune "would be divvied up starting with roughly 50 percent to his charitable foundation and the bulk of the remainder divided evenly between his four children: Christie, David, Marston, and Cooper."

Madison added that $3 million would be bestowed to her after Hefner's death "provided I still lived at the mansion." She stressed that she did not need the money and was offended by Hefner's move as she felt that the millionaire was trying to buy her.

After Madison's memoir was published, the Playboy founder released a statement that seemed to address her work. "Over the course of my life, I've had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy and productive lives, and I'm pleased to say remain, dear friends, today," Hefner said. "Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess as the old saying goes: You can't win 'em all!"

Following Hefner and Madison's split, the exes did not remain amicable with each other. In fact, Madison made damning comments about Hefner. She alleged that Hefner lacked intimacy during sex and hinted at him inflicting mental and emotional abuse. She also said he had many insecurities, had offered her prescription drugs, and barely knew four things about his girls.

Madison also claimed that her stay in the Playboy mansion was "traumatic." "It turned out to be something that was traumatic for me in a way that I wasn't really prepared for...I felt really ashamed of the choice I made," Madison said on OWN's "Where Are They Now" series.
