Although the social media has not yet exploded with the pictures and videos of the latest earthquake in Japan, a home footage of the April 7 quake has hit YouTube.

The footage uploaded on the video sharing site was filmed in south of Miyagi, where tremors were felt.

This is home footage of the earthquake, they are south of Miyagi but still feel the shaking!! the description of the so far lone amateur footage of the latest Japan earthquake reads.

On Thursday, two earthquakes, including one measuring 7.4 in magnitude, hit 25 miles (40 kilometers) under the water and off the coast of Miyagi prefecture.

The quake jolted buildings as far away as Tokyo close to about a minute and is reported to have killed at least three.

Japan's Pacific Coast was struck by a devastating 9.0-magnitude earthquake on March 11. The country was also battered by an ensuing tsunami causing widespread damage. Social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube turned grounds for people across the globe to get updates from the ground in the wake of the disaster.

Now, Japan faces a second potential nuclear crisis as radiation levels inside the Onagawa nuclear plant in the Miyagi prefecture rose slightly as water spilled out of spent fuel pools. This comes even as the country tries to prevent a nuclear meltdown at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, crippled in the March quake.
